Revelation - Words used in A Course in Miracles

"Revelation unites you directly with God"

Revelation induces complete but temporary suspension of doubt and fear. It reflects the original form of communication between God and His creations, involving the extremely personal sense of creation … Revelation unites you directly with God.Revelation is intensely personal and cannot be meaningfully translated. That is why any attempt to describe it in words is impossible. Revelation induces only experience.… Revelation is literally unspeakable because it is an experience of unspeakable love.   Awe should be reserved for revelation, to which it is perfectly and correctly applicable                 T-1.II.1:1,2,5/2:1-3,7/3:1.

God has kept your Kingdom for you, but He cannot share His joy with you until you know it with your whole mind. Revelation is not enough, because it is only communication from God. God does not need revelation returned to Him, which would clearly be impossible, but He does want it brought to others. This cannot be done with the actual revelation; its content cannot be expressed, because it is intensely personal to the mind that receives it. It can, however, be returned by that mind to other minds, through the attitudes the knowledge from the revelation brings.      T-4.VII.4:1-5.
Knowledge is the result of revelation and induces only thought. Even in its most spiritualized form perception involves the body. Knowledge comes from the altar within and is timeless because it is certain. To perceive the truth is not the same as to know it.   T-3.III.5:10-13.
